Real life version

We haven´t given you any update for a while and we have an announcement to make. Unfortunatelly, Jernej is no longer a singer of Real Life Version. First we must say, that we are really grateful for the last three, four years we basically lived together, all the gigs we played and the days we spent together in the smelly tour-van. This wasn´t an easy decision for any of us, but it was the only solution we could see. There isn´t any nasty shit behind this, we are still great friends we have been for many years, but we have different goals with this band and different priorities in life. We are now four band members and have been practicing our asses off, working on the vocals. We plan to carry on in this line-up, unless we stumble upon someone who we think could contribute to the band.

For some reason we feel very motivated right now and it shows in the new songs we are working on at the moment. We plan to woodshed throughout the summer and work on vocals and the new album, which should be recorded this year. Also expect new merchandise later in the year.

We don´t plan to have any gigs during the summer in order to concentrate on rehearsing and working on new songs, but we plan a tour together with our finnish friends Part Time Killer in autumn/winter. We are really looking forward to ripping it up with hose guys. THe tour will be postponed to november, the dates will be announced shortly!

I wasn´t sure if I would write this blog, but I wanted to share the memories with others and have something written down to remind ourselves of all the nice (and not so nice) things that happended to us on this tour. The tour lasted from March 5th-21st and this time I decided to start booking way ahead (in september) to try and book all the dates. We are back home! An update about what we are up to in the year 2010. First we plan to go on two-week tour in March (from 5th-20th), going to Italy, France, UK, Belgium and Germany (we are still looking to book a show on 19th – friday, so if you can help, get in touch). It will be nice to meet old friends and make new ones!

After the tour we plan to dedicate ourselves 100% to making new songs and finishing the ones we had already started working on. If all goes to plan we will be recording our second album this year. We plan to do things properly so expect some wicked stuff!

We plan occasional gigs in spring throughout Slovenia and possibly doing some festivals in the summer. Keep checking our myspace and official website for announcements.

Moreover, we plan to hit the road again in October. This time we will go on tour together with our friends from Finnland, Part Time Killer. We plan to play in Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Croatia. More will be announced soon. Get in touch if you want to help us with a show!
