New beginnings
Hey, here is a short update from Real Life Version camp. Although it might not seem so, we have been working really hard in the last few months. As you may already know we have been without lead vocalist since the end of the summer, but instead of finding a new singer we jumped right in and started learning to sing and play our instruments at the same time (not easy at first). We have been writing new material and re-learned a few old songs, but we will mainly focus on new songs in the future, with different songs from the first album thrown in from time to time. We have been postponing the recording process of our new album, reasons being that we still have to write two more songs, but mainly because we want to take our time and do everything right (our philosphy is that every song we write goes on the album, we don´t make a bunch of songs and then choose the good ones).
Knowing that the best way to progress and learn is to play in front of the live audience we will do just that. We are going on tour with our finnish friends Part Time Killer from 24th February – 5th March. The tour will include gigs in Czech Republic, Italy and Slovenia, you can check the tour dates on our website. Every feedback from you is welcome!Plans for the future are as stated earlier, to record the second album and then play gigs whenever we have free time and hopefully do a scandinavian tour when the time is right.
