Real life version

Great news! We have finished mixing our second album! It took us a long time, mainly because we did it all ourselves including learning how to engineer and produce/mix from the beginning. Thanks to all who gave advice and pointers on things that we were not too sure about. It is always difficult even for skilled and experienced mixing engineers to say that mix is as good as it is ever gong to be, but making the decision to put music out is another step in reaching the maturity as an individuals and as a band.

We say that the album is D.I.Y. but it would be more fair to say that it is 2/3 D.I.Y. since we aren´t yet skilled enough to do the mastering of the album. Having a fresh set of ears listening to your music before it goes into the world is a great way of putting things into the right perspective and giving the final product a finishing touch it deserves.

Therefore we decided to send the album to be mastered in the Blasting Room, by Jason Livermore and Bill Stevenson, who have worked with bands we love like Rise against, Propagandhi, A Wilhelm scream, Hot water music, NOFX and many, many more. We are sure their expertise will be very valuable and we will be happy with the end result.

Our next plan is to get in touch with labels that would be willing to work with us and help us take this big part of our lives up a notch and shift into the fifth gear. Moreover we are already working on new songs that will be faster, more technical and mainly more mature, so we can´t wait to record those!

While our new album is in mixing process, we’re not resting. New ideas for new songs are coming effortless and we are really thrilled about them. This time we want to make shure that you won’t have to wait another 3 years for the next album.

We’ll play a show on 11th of May in our hometown Ajdovscina with 20 other local bands as a presentation of local scene in past 30 years or more. We are very excited to share the stage with local legends as Pietriosi, Big Bibls Brother Band, Elvis Jackson, Abadon etc.. We are also preparing some old songs to deversify a little bit our performance. Hope to see you there!

Process of mixing our new album is finally nearing the end. It took a little bit more time than we have expected in the begining. We are doing this D.I.Y. and that’s why we had to first learn everything about mixing to do this properly. We will try contacting some labels and announce release date when more will be known.

February-March tour. What a tour it was. It took us through 6 countries in 15 days and the odometer stopped at 6000 kilometres. Seem like a long journey, but when you are sharing experiences like this with you best friends the time just flies by. This wasn´t our longest tour, but it was the most enjoyable. We had a chance to play the songs from our up-coming album with great feedback from the audience which gave us a confirmation that we are on the right path. Lots of things happened in this two weeks and although I probably forgot half of it, I tried to put some of the memories on the paper.
